Twilight(2008)
This is probably one of the the Holiday Movies blockbuster of 2009. The film edition of “Twilight” will get a big thumbs up from fanatic readers of the series be leaving their mark on the box office. Based on the best-selling young adult novel by Stephenie Meyer, Twilight breathes new life into the classic vampire tale. Isabella "Bella" Swan is new to the small town of Forks, Washington, and finds herself drawn to the enigmatic Edward Cullen. Apparently, she's into older guys. Like, a hundred years older. Though the discovery that he's a vampire doesn't dim Bella's passion, the young couple soon has worse problems. Not all vamps are as nice as Edward -- and one is out for Bella's blood. A must watch movie for this holiday.

American Beauty(1999)

Lester and Carolyn Burnham are on the outside, a perfect husband and wife, in a perfect house, in a perfect neighborhood. But inside, Lester is slipping deeper and deeper into a hopeless depression. He finally snaps when he becomes infatuated with one of his daughter's friends. Meanwhile, his daughter Jane is developing a happy friendship with a shy boy-next-door named Ricky, who lives with a homophobic father.

The Pianist (2002)

It’s another nice movie to watch in this holiday that Won 3 Oscars. Another 44 wins & 42 nominations. You will feel the agony of a helpless man (This is a true story) during the world war of 1930’s. A brilliant pianist, a Polish Jew, witnesses the restrictions Nazis place on Jews in the Polish capital, from restricted access to the building of the Warsaw ghetto. As his family is rounded up to be shipped off to the Nazi labor camps, he escapes deportation and eludes capture by living in the ruins of Warsaw.

The God must be crazy (1980)
Genre: Comedy, Adventure
Some people who live their lives from far behind the modern civilization. One day somehow they found an element of modern life for the first time--in the shape of a Coke bottle. After some day they came to realize that it’s making their lives disputing. The leader of the group decides to return it to the God--where everybody thinks it came from. A Great and evergreen movie to add into the Holiday movie watch list .

This Christmas(2007)
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Kids/Family and Holiday
Do you ever realize that your family members might have some problems to share, to be solved? Just like you or your family (may be) all the siblings have come home for the first time in years and they've brought plenty of baggage with them. As the Christmas tree is trimmed and the lights are hung, secrets are revealed and family bonds are tested. As their lives converge, they join together and help each other discover the true meaning of a family. Great holiday movie with a moral.

Apocalypto(2007)
Genre: Action, Adventure
Action and adventure movie. But also shows how a man makes a desperate break to return home and ultimately save his way of life by the power of his love for family. This is about a tale set in the Mayan civilization. When a man's idyllic presence is brutally disrupted by a violent invading force, he is taken on a perilous journey to a world ruled by fear and oppression where a harrowing end awaits him. Through a twist of fate, and spurred by the power of his love for his family ,he return home undefeated. I suggest you to watch it whenever you get time during or after the holiday.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)

Another old movie but worth watching in this holiday season. Indiana Jones finds himself on a new adventure, trekking across Asia with a gold-digging woman and a young child to rescue a village's missing children and find a magic stone. But, along the way he must contend with an evil cult.

It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
Genre: Drama, family, Fantasy , Romance
Story of a man who finally finally realises that - yes - life is wonderful and worth living. So, don’t miss this great movie in this holiday. Few films deserve such enthusiastic names as 'marvelous', 'classic' and 'inspirational', and ‘Evergreen’ but this movie ‘It's a Wonderful Life’ is worthy of them all .

A Christmas Story(1983)

Story of a young boy in the '40's, He dreams of owning a Red Rider BB gun. He sets out to convince the world this is the perfect gift. But along the way, he runs into opposition from his parents, his teacher, and even good Santa Claus himself. See whether he received his gift or not! A great holiday movie.

The man in the moon( 1991)
Genre: Drama, Romance
A romantic film on a true story, two sisters compete for the romantic attentions of the same man. This is one of the best movie you can watch in holidays. . Every minute of it is just so well.... wonderful. And the story is even better for holidays. She falls in love with an older boy and he falls for her sister.

Finding Nemo (2003)
Genre:Action/Adventure, Comedy, Kids/Family and Animation
If you haven’t watch this film yet, you are missing a something. Life along the Great Barrier Reef is full of dangers when you are a tiny clown fish. And for Marlin, a single parent determined to protect his only son Nemo, there are constant fears and anxieties. When, on his first day of school, Nemo defies his father and swims off alone to investigate a boat, he is suddenly scooped up by a diver as Marlin helplessly watches. Later he go out to find his son, traveled the whole world (underwater).
